EASY BREAD RECIPE

Who can resist a house that smells like baking bread?

Quick Yeast Bread Recipe - Food.com

Baking bread is such a fun activity to do!
Are you ready?

Ingredients

1 package active dry yeast
1 1/4 cup milk, warm 110 to 115 degrees
1/4 cup honey
1/8 cup melted butter
1 teaspoon salt
3 cups all purpose flour

Instructions

1.Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Dissolve one package of yeast into a bowl of the warmed milk. Next add the honey, melted butter, and salt. Mix to combine.

2.Add 3 cups of flour and mix with hands until a soft dough forms. Use additional flour for dusting.

3.Place the dough on a floured surface and begin kneading for about 10 minutes.
When you are done kneading, place the dough in a greased bowl and cover it. Place the bowl in a warm place so it can rise and double. This will take about 30 minutes.

4.
Next, punch down the dough and place it in a greased loaf pan.

5.Bake for 30-35 minutes at 375 degrees.

6.Remove from pan when done and allow to cool.

7.(Optional)
We love our honey bread with a little butter which melts so nicely on the still warm bread.

We hope you enjoy this easy bread recipe!

Values: Refresh your Senses

Mindfulness is the act of slowing down and noticing what is happening. The purpose of mindfulness is to calm our thoughts and focus on the present moment.

Look at this video to learn more about MINDFULNESS!
↓↓

Exercise: Let´s practise Sensory Check-in!

1. Turn the lights down and follow this amazing guided meditation to refresh you senses.
↓↓

It may seem a bit silly at first, and if you feel that way, that’s totally okay!

2. When you finish the guided meditation, take a minute to think how you are feeling.

3. Write the emotions you are feeling at that moment on your gratitude journal.

REMEMBER!
Now you have a NEW TOOL: SENSORY CHECK-IN

When you are feeling overwhelmed, sit in a quiet place and use each of your 5 senses (sight, sound, smell, touch, and taste) to identify with your surroundings.

What do you see, hear, touch and smell?

The point is to focus on the sensory input you are receiving from the world around you instead of the invasive, anxious thoughts you are feeling. And when those anxiety-provoking thoughts do threaten to take over, remind you to dismiss them and imagine them floating away.
