Post nº 62 // Thursday, September 3rd

 Hi kids!

Non-flowering plants

Science book page 26 and 27

Some plants, like mosses and ferns, don't have flowers, fruit or seeds. They reproduce by spores. These plants tend to live in shady and damp areas, for example, in forests. They don't need direct sunlight to grow.

Ferns are small and green, they have leaves.

Mosses tend to grow on rocks and trees.

Exercise 1: Tick the non-flowering plants.

Exercise 2: Write 'Mosses' or 'Fern'.

Exercise 3: Draw spores on the leaves, then label the picture.

Exercise 5: Tick the things ferns need to grow.

Exercise 6: Write 'Yes' or 'No'.
