Values: GRATITUDE

When you think of gratitude, typically the first thought that comes to mind is being grateful for the good things in your life.
It is common claim that counting your great things in life is an easy way to feel happier about a bad situation.
Sounds simple,right?
I know when things are hectic or stressful, finding the silver lining can be challenging.
But you should know that gratitude:
- has a positive effect on both your physical and mental health
- Research has shown it to improve relaxation, sleep quality and energy levels
- Kids who are good at being grateful are better able to deal with challenging situations
- Grateful kids are more resilient because they are able to look at the BRIGHT side!

Being grateful is a habit that can simply make you feel happier!

Let’s enforce a gratitude habit with a small journal!

1. You will need an old copybook. That copybook is going to be now your gratitude journal!!!!

2.In your gratitude journal, you will do some activities or write down a couple of things every week.

3. When we go back to school, we are going to share our journals with the class!

THIS WEEK

There is something good in everyday...
Just write ONE good thing that happened that day!
You can do these activity with your family!!!

This is an example that I did in my gratitude journal!
