Values: EMOTIONS

What are EMOTIONS?
Mindfulness Poem about Relating To Feelings. Great way to get kids talking about their emotions.

Emotions are also called feelings.

Emotions give us information about what we are going through at the time and how we should respond to that experience.

With any emotion, your body and mind will experience changes. Emotions are completely natural and are always changing as different things happen to us.

You experience emotions every day. In fact, you most likely experience many different emotions every day!

Learning to identify and regulate emotions is a big job...

Let's start learning how to IDENTIFY emotions

1. Watch the movie "INSIDE OUT"

Inside Out. Del revés - AACIC

Here is the Link so you can watch the movie.

2. In Inside Out, different emotions take their turns at the control panel in Riley’s brain. Her thoughts, words and behaviors are influenced by which emotion is in charge.

A good place for you to start identifying your emotions is with mood tracking.

Mood tracker is a simply way to keep a record of your mood every day.

Next week you have to use your MOOD TRACKER!

Use the list of emotions to describe how do you feel today.
You can choose as many emotions as you like!

Look at the example:
